Victory kids dig deep

A few days ago Victory Primary School went tree planting in the Emano Street reserve. All the senior classes walked up Emano Street and met two men from NELMAC who showed us were to dig.

All of us started to dig holes but the ground was really hard so some people had trouble digging. I managed to dig seven holes. Our class planted 152 trees!

Victory mooovs

Victory kids love the milk that has been coming to Victory Primary. They think its good to have some milk when they are working so hard. Last term the seniors were the testers. They made sure that the milk is good for the rest of the Victory School. We were even given milk bins for the empty boxes.

We have to give a big thanks to Rm 14. They hand out the milk to all of the classes and check the milk bins for rubbish. Now the middles and the little ones are getting milk. They seem to enjoy it too.

Fruit in Schools

We are very lucky at Victory Primary School because we get a free bucket of fruit every afternoon. We always get different kinds of fruit each day, like apples, oranges, pineapples, bananas and kiwifruit. The most popular fruit that we get is apples. Fruit is really good for you because it has vitamin A, vitamin B and vitamin C.
