On Monday 17 February Koffie came to Victory Primary School to teach us about drums. Koffie is from Ghana.
He let the Year 5 and 6 students try and play the drums. There were two types of drums - djembe & kbanlongo. One of the drums has both a girl drum and a boy drum. The girl drum sounds higher than the boy one because the girls voice is higher than the boys. It was lots of fun hearing all of the sounds the drums can make.
Ayden loved all of it, he thought it was the best. Kyla and Zara like seeing year 5 and 6 playing the drums but they found it loud.
